In order for our post to prevail over others and go viral, we abuse hyperbole: diva, myth, genius, giant. The perfect life and the profusion of fake smiles seek robotic and envious likes, but the failure to delve into really valid discussions makes all this conversation empty. Advertising and TV seem to have gone headlong into this wrong bet. It's time for these industries to reinvent themselves or take a back to the future , rereading Ogilvy. I have a series of articles about him, where I say that Ogilvy was an internet
man, before the internet even existed . The seriousness 1000 Mobile Number List of the news presenters didn't connect, so they softened the tone. It is impossible to deal with serious issues with happy content, but it is equally unreasonable to turn journalism into a factor of depression. Reality is already depressing enough. Strangely, or not, it seems that this bipolarity of mine is shared by others. Ah, the positive content is so beautiful… Fortunately, there are people taking care of pathologies like mine. Roberto Dias, from Folha, wrote an excellent text: “ to the Danes ” where he talks about Ulrik Haagerup, a journalist who is going against current journalism, as he presents a
proposal to give more visibility to what he is giving right than what goes wrong. Ulrik says that journalists, with their critical gaze, have been making people believe that reality is worse than it actually is.And it encourages a counterpoint, the Constructive News project, which proposes a more optimistic approach to the news. He quotes a great quote from Bill Gates: “It's easy to cover bad and dramatic news, but good news, in general, happens slowly and without drama... People's health improves, but no one invites children who didn't die from malaria to an interview.
